thanks andreas!

the sides will go sideways and well, the midle part will go up! :)
not sure if the lower part should follow the upper part or just go beneath the floor level...

i'll prbably set up a simple animation for it to see what works best.

Too true... the question is, will it resist a Lightsaber ala Qui-Gon?

i really am a douche sometimes...
forgot to show the concept, might aswell tell you guys that alot of thing's that i will be making for this Mod will be made from a concept.
i'm not actualy that into sci-fi stuff, yet. this is still the second model for eclipse.
but i'm slowly getting the hang of it and liking it! :)

I'm sure it will come to you. There's two kinds of environments that are my very favorite, Sci-fi, and really lush green ones. ;)

Looking awesome dude. I was gonna suggest you put some lights on the top but I can see by the concept that there are some in the doorframe or something. So basically just well done.

thanks guys!

yeah i'm slowly getting used to the whole sci-fi way of modeling, the more i model from these concepts the easier it gets to add some of my own detail to it (not much now, but atleast some of it :) ).

i will make the frame as well, the dead line for this thing is the 10th of april. so i will have a lowpoly with normal maps for you then.

will post wire frames as well, i think that's the most fun thing to watch when people share their models. :)

Heh, I suppose that means Halo 3's environments are one of your favorites, since they have both in one environment.

...nice looking door. I don't think I'd want it to be my garage door though. Too noisy... :P

As a matter of fact, the Halo environments are some of my favorite. Good guess. I also really like the Citadel in Mass Effect.

You know, I think I could put up with having a noisy garage door, if it looked like that!
