    [LIVESTREAM - WIP] High Poly Assets (Training)

    Hey Guys,
    It's Cb_ArTs back again!

    It's been a while, but finally I'm back, doing some 3d-Stuff (School was a lot of work),
    so the first thing I want to do is improve my skillset, especially with ZBrush, as I'm a huge newbie in Z, and really love the art that is being created with it.

    So what is this about?
    This is all about training, I'm going over several assets, from start to finish, from High, to Lowpoly bake, from whitebox to texturing. My focus with this is improving my workflow with highpoly-objects in ZBrush.

    What's special about this?
    I'm streaming all of it live! You can watch every second of me creating the asset I'm currently working on, giving tipps, asking questions. Sometimes I'll commentate with a microphone, so there might be something to learn, especially for people that are not so much familiar with 3d-art.

    What programs are u using?
    I'm going to use 3dsMax for Whitebox and Base-mesh, ZBrush for High Details, 3dsMax and maybe some 3rd party-program to do my HP-Bakes and eventually Photoshop for texturing.

    How do we know you're streaming?
    Well, I'll always post, as soon as I go online for a session, either you can follow this thread and hop onto the stream and watch, or just watch out on my stream

    And if you don't catch me live, all my recordings are being uploaded on twitch, so you can always watch the "replays" of me live-streaming, you won't miss a second.

    I don't want to watch Videos/Streams!
    No problem, I'll post pictures and renders of the assets/progress from time to time, the stream is only an addition!

    1st Asset will be a very easy one:



    Just that "post" out of a concept that I found a few months back on a concept-art-page, and saw again today.

    I'll start in 3dsMax doing the Whitebox (proportions), going over to do the base-mesh, setting up for a high-poly (support edges), then getting everything into ZBrush, where I'll start with the High-Poly details, after that I'll go over to 3ds Max again, doing the LowPoly, baking the Highpoly and start UVW-ing and eventually texturing in PS.

    Just finished the High-Poly, next step is taking this baby into Zbrush and adding detail!

    Overall I must say my workflow wasn't good at all, I did a few things wrong and hat to bug-fix later on, guess that's what happens when you take a 2,5 month long break
